Liquids eductors can also be used to entrain gases. This allows for the creation of vacuums, evacuation of vessels and aeration of the motive fluid. For example IGF vessels use eductors to create micro bubbles required in the water treatment process, Aqua Farms to aerate water tanks and ponds etc and marine vessels use eductors for priming bilge, ballast and fire fighting pumps.
