Oil and Gas

Petrochemical

  • No moving parts and no electromechanical components means eductors and ejectors are ideal for pumping and transporting dangerous and flammable fluids in hazardous (ATEX) areas.

  • Exhausting / venting of pipeline and vessels of explosive gases, blending and mixing of fuel oils, creating vacuums for column distillation.

Water and Waste

  • For all aspects of clean water, waste and produced water treatment and processing.

  • Eductors for general pumping duties, GAC and PAC removal from filtration beds and ion exchangers, chemical dosing, additive mixing, and dilution.

Chemical

  • Single and multi stage ejectors for creating and maintaining vacuums required in evaporators, crystalisers and deodorisers.

  • Tank mixing eductors can mix and blend chemicals to provide uniform temperature and pH levels as well as preventing the settling of solid content.

Food and Drink

  • Manufactured from high grade stainless steel and electropolished eductors are ideal for CIP pumping and mixing operations.

  • Solids handling eductors can be used for adding solids to liquids such as salts, sugars, whey and other products as well as transporting away waste products, such as fish slurry.

  • With no moving parts, no maintenance and no power requirements they are ideal for use in a brewery, food processing, edible oils or handling food production waste products.

  • Instantaneous Steam heaters can heat products inline and in-tank mixing eductors can uniformly heat and mix products in vessels.

Nuclear (Fit and Forget)

  • Eductors have no moving parts, minimal maintenance, do not need any form of power supply, are self priming and can handle solid content and two phase flow as well as clean liquids.

  • Ideal for fit and forget operations in difficult to access or hazardous areas where it would be prohibitive or difficult to carry out maintenance or inspection operations.

  • Pumping radioactive liquids and slurries within nuclear power stations and nuclear waste processing sites from bunds, pits, tanks and other vessels.

Power Generation

  • Air Ejectors and Thermocompressors are used in many applications throughout the power generation industries.

  • For use with steam turbines creating system vacuums using start up ejectors, hogging ejectors and main ejectors as well as saving energy and optimising heat recovery by recycling and compressing low pressure steam and gases for reuse.

  • Many applications can be found in the rapidly expanding renewables and bio energy industries for recovering, venting, and exhausting methane and natural gas.

  • Gas Ejectors are used to recirculate hydrogen in PEM type Hydrogen Fuel Cells to improve overall efficiency and durability.

Marine & Shipping

  • Used extensively on vessels throughout the world, being self priming and having minimal maintenance requirements, they can be installed as fit and forget devices or specified as portable units for intermittent usage

  • Example uses include bilge pumps, ballast pumps, stripping ejectors, mixing chemical suppressants as part of the fire fighting system, priming on board pumps as well as refuelling operations and pneumatic conveyance of cargo.

  • Available either as a fabriction or a casting in marine grade materials such as Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Gunmetal, Aluminium Bronze, CuNi 70:30 and CuNi 90:10.

  • Eductors can be custom designed to the same overall dimensions as the existing units to be replaced therefore removing the need to alter pipework and minimising installation time.
